Yes, I Can

"Yes, I Can" is a wonderful affirmation.  This affirmation will program the mind for success in all areas of one's life.

I have been very surprised by the difficulties many clients have with making success generating affirmations.

This affirmation has been suggested, when my clients have struggled with past failures and disappointments.  Logically and consistently, they have thought of themselves as failures or disappointments..  They struggle with insecurity, inadequacy, discouragement and anxiety.  Their failure driven affirmation is "No, I Can't".

Because of the perceived genuineness of their affirmation "No, I Can't," their minds are closed and unwilling to accept that new affirmation such as "Yes, I Can".

For those of you who believe that your self-affirmations have to be consistent with your problems, you are unwittingly re-creating your present and future in the image of your past.  Problem driven self-affirmations are prophetic and will determine the quality of your life.  Problem driven self-affirmations are self-defeating.

Self-affirmations do not have to be consistent and logically derived from your problems and thoughts about your problems.  Self-affirmations can be consistent with your dreams and your goals.  Self affirmations can be completely free of past influences and open up windows of opportunity for success.

"Yes, I Can" can enhance your self-concept, change your emotional experiences, make you healthier and successful.

Is today the day for you to began to affirm "Yes, I Can"?  If today is not the day, when will it be time for you to say "Yes, I Can"?

Remember, You Live within the Environment Created by Your Choices!
