How Important Is Mental Fitness?
Brian Tracy in his Sales Success Newsletter wrote about the importance of mental fitness in selling. Mental fitness is not only important in selling, it is crucial for living a successful life.
This is what Brian Tracy had to say about mental fitness:
"To become and remain physically fit, you must engage continuously in physical exercise.
To become mentally fit, to develop the kind of attitude that leads on to success and happiness,
You must engage in continuous mental exercise. It is a never ending process. Just as you do not achieve physical fitness and then discontinue physical exercise, you can not achieve mental fitness without working on it regularly, every day, like breathing in and breathing out".
Mental fitness is necessary for success and happiness. Life has never-ending problems and challenges. Potential for disappointment surfaces every day. Life is difficult. Past successes are fleeting. Every day has the potential for providing overwhelming circumstances. What we depend upon, sometimes disappoints us. Unexpected problems can eat at our sense of well-being and confidence.
Mental fitness training is necessary to make us stronger than our problems in living. Mental fitness training is the repetition of self affirmations that make us stronger than the problems in our lives.
