The Focus Point and Adversity

The most powerful Focus Point is where there is adversity.

Instead of reacting to the adversity, you are at a Focus Point to make the best choice for taking care of yourself!  Make The Big Choice!

The nature of the adversity does not matter.  It could be a natural disaster.  It could be loss of health.  It might be a financial setback such as the loss of your job, financial investments or style of life.  It might be a lost relationship due to divorce, conflict or death.

What does matter, is how you react to the adversity.  No matter how bad things get, you can always focus on taking care of yourself.

Remember, You Live within Time Created by Your Choices!

During this week I want to share some of the insights regarding time from The Time Choice.  The Time Choice is one of the 15 choices in the North Star Mental Fitness Program for changing your life.

This week's posts are:

  1. My Focus Point Is Now!
  2. My Focus Point Is Always.
  3. Focus Points Are like Diamonds

In encountering some adversity in my life these past few day's, I chose to handle my situation with where I was at that very moment, therefore I was able to keep my mind clear of old clutter and focus on what was on my plate at that very moment. I was able to deal with my "situation" much easier, keeping focused on what was happening "now", not 5 years ago, or even further back then that. Sure does make life much easier!! And, I think I came off as making more sense. So, I accomplished my goal, for now; I'll deal with it again if I have to, but I will stay focused on where I am at, when the time comes. It's really to difficult and meaningless to let the past, or "what if's" get in my way!

Learning everyday to live within the enviroment I create for ME!

As always, Thank You!

Sherry,

Thank you for sharing your experiences with us. Living in the present makes living our lives much easier.
