Russell Conwell delivered his famous speech, Acres of Diamonds, over 5000 times. If you are not familiar with the story, please read it at American Rhetoric.
The most important question for people to ask themselves is "Where Is My Field of Diamonds"?
Where is your field of diamonds?
Are you looking for your acres of diamonds inside or outside of yourself? Conwell's story focused on the futility of people looking for wealth, meaning and success outside of themselves. Many people fail to be successful, because they feverishly pursue acres of diamonds outside themselves.
Still we look outside ourselves for the roots of success. If we only had a better education, better paying job, better employer, better job opportunities, better mentors, better associates, better marital partners, better family backgrounds, better locations. The list of "if we only had better" can go on forever.
I am not against looking outside of yourself for the skills to improve your well-being. However, it is necessary to look inside of yourself to find your inner diamonds and then look outside of yourself for help mining these diamonds.
No matter where you are there are opportunities for finding diamonds. There are opportunities right where you are.
Acres of diamonds are in your immediate environment, but you will only recognize them after you have discovered the inner diamonds insde of you.
This is the essence of the Law of Attraction. Pursue mining the diamonds in your mind and you will create acres of diamonds in your life.
Remember, You Live within Environment Created by Your Choices!
